My name is Julian “Hulie” Bejarano, and I’m a recovering addict who has experienced God’s transforming power firsthand. After 11 years of sobriety, I feel called to share this program with others—to help uncover the deeper causes behind our choices and, as the Scripture says, lay the ax to the root.

The DOORS Program, founded by Greg Hogan, was created out of a deep burden to help people find lasting freedom. Greg noticed that many individuals struggling with addiction would get clean—only to fall back into old patterns. One day, he came across Matthew 3:10 (NLT), which speaks to the need to lay the ax to the root of the tree. This became the foundation of The Doors Program.

"Even now the ax of God’s judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire." Matthew 3:10

This verse reminds us that real change happens when we deal with the root issues—the fears, anger, shame, rejection, and abandonment—that fuel destructive behaviors such as addiction, bitterness, and even hidden sins.

You don’t have to be an addict to benefit from this program. We all have areas in our lives where we’ve chosen our will over God’s, and The Doors Program helps us identify and surrender those roots to Him.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

We currently meet in weekly round-table discussions, spending about 15 minutes on each topic, followed by open conversation where anyone can share or reflect. Future sessions will include companion study materials designed to help you dive even deeper into the healing and restoration God offers.

"As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." Proverbs 27:17"

Join us each Monday 6:30pm as we open the doors to freedom, healing, and a closer walk with Christ.

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there I am with them." Matthew 18:20
